Natural Gas Congress
November 24th – 26th 2021
The Colombian Natural Gas Association is hosting the 23rd edition of this event in a hybrid format and the project committee are currently investigating options for Atlantic Canada to participate.

The annual Congress includes representatives from all aspects of the gas industry, national and regional government, local authorities and globally recognised companies and experts.
In addition to all aspects of Natural Gas, there will also be a focus on Hydrogen this year as Colombia has just launched its National Hydrogen Roadmap.

Organizations from Atlantic Canada that are interested in attending are encouraged to indicate their interest and we will try and secure some representation either in-person or virtually – financial support is available to cover registration costs.

Virtual Oil & Gas Summit
November 16th – 19th 2021

Leading Colombian organizations including ACP (Petroleum Association), Campetrol (Energy Chamber) and Acipet (Association of Petroleum Engineers) collaborate to deliver this annual summit. The 2021 edition is being delivered online and The Maritimes Energy Association has secured space for up to eight companies to join us at the virtual exhibition and conference.

Companies that sign-up as part of the delegation will have the opportunity to display collateral including banners, posters, videos, catalogues etc. on the group pavilion and will be able to register one member of staff as a key point of contact for networking with fellow visitors.

The virtual exhibition is complemented by a comprehensive conference agenda and series of ‘business rounds’ via the B2B platform – participation in these elements is included for all our delegates.

There is no cost to companies from Atlantic Canada to register for this activity – places will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

This event is a great opportunity to engage with key players, undertake some market research, and promote your products/service to a captive audience prior to considering whether to investigate the market in more depth e.g. the in-person trade mission in March 2022.

In-person Mission to Colombia
Week Commencing 7th March 2022
We are now seeking expressions of interest from organizations that may consider a visit to Colombia. The trade mission agenda will include meetings with key industry stakeholders, Operators, service companies and B2B/Matchmaking with prospective local clients and partners.

It is anticipated that the mission will include time in both Bogota and the Colombian Caribbean region – it will be suitable for all aspects of the Oil and Gas supply/service sector as well as clean tech and renewables companies that can support the decarbonisation of oil and gas production.

Companies should register for the Virtual Oil and Gas Summit and/or indicate an interest in the Natural Gas Congress asap via:

Further details on the in-person mission taking place in March 2022 will be circulated prior to the festive break but companies that are keen on attending are encouraged to express their interest early to help with planning a suitable visit programme.

Eligibility: Any organisation involved in the Oil and Gas/Energy sector, and with a presence in Atlantic Canada can participate in this initiative.
