Our events put leaders of the world’s largest energy companies in the same room as entrepreneurs from clean-tech start-ups, and engineers from local utilities. We are an incubator for new ideas and networking opportunities.

On behalf of you - our members, we engage with policy makers, governments and other stakeholders who in turn provide local jobs and economic opportunities in the region. We also identify the procurement opportunities available in this market, and assist in identifying the government policies and programs which enable business growth.

The Energy Bulletin is a curated source of information that is sent at the end of each workday. It includes the day’s Procurements, Regional, National, International and Member News, MEA and Industry Events and Trade Missions. Members that receive and utilize it have repeatedly told us that it is one of our most valuable benefits of membership.
In collaboration with provincial and federal governments, we organize and facilitate trade missions to explore export opportunities. Matchmaking services are usually included in such missions outside Atlantic Canada, providing local companies access to global markets.
The MEA works with its member companies to put forward policies that benefit the energy sector. The MEA’s ongoing relationship with key government leaders, policy makers and like-minded organizations ensures the industry’s voice is heard and enables the association to share insights on government with its membership.
Although many of our events are open for non-members and members alike; MEA members automatically receive discounted rates on all ticketed events! Our events are well attended and will give you the networking opportunities you are looking for. Are you interested in professional development? Event Marketing (also known as sponsorship) can enhance your company's image and visibility; help to differentiate you and develop closer relationships with current and prospective customers; and even to showcase your products and services directly to industry leaders in the energy sector. With our many events and activities throughout the year, our members have a wide variety of opportunities to choose from. As a member, we also offer social media, eblast and website marketing opportunities as well.
