The Ocean Technology Council of Nova Scotia in partnership with the Government of Canada, the Province of Nova Scotia and the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship is pleased to present the H2O: Home to Overseas Conference from Tuesday, June 14 to Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Atlantic Canada and Nova Scotia, in particular, is home to a strong cluster of ocean industries and to groundbreaking ocean research. This region is quickly becoming a globally recognized hub of oceans expertise with the potential to be a significant contributor to a number of Global Value Chains associated with the oceans sector, including, but not limited to, Marine Defence, Marine Energy, Marine Observation, Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology, Marine Tourism and Marine Transportation.
The H2O Conference is an ideal event to engage with the ocean technology industry. The conference will include international delegates, research, development and commercialization presentations, and B2B meetings. This year’s conference will also include on-water demos at COVE.

CANADA’S PREMIER EVENT FOR THE OCEAN TECHNOLOGY SECTOR
The Home to Overseas Conference, is rapidly becoming Canada’s premier event for the ocean technology sector and is attracting significant international participation—there were 25 countries, represented in 2021.
Ocean technology being defined as a horizontal sector covering the technologies applicable to such vertical sectors as marine defence, marine energy (offshore extractive and renewable), marine environmental monitoring, marine transportation, aquaculture, fisheries and marine tourism.
