Democamp is an annual event for the Atlantic Canadian startup ecosystem to come together and showcase their innovative technologies to their peers, while reaching potential new customers or investors, as well as the rest of the community.

Founders from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador are invited to explain what their tech is, how it works, why it is helpful and more, but must do so without a PowerPoint presentation or any other type of slide deck. This makes the presentations more focused on the technology being demonstrated. 

Each participant will have five minutes to present their hardware or software product to an audience, and attendees will be encouraged to give feedback and ask any questions following their presentation. A set amount of time will be available for questions from the audience. 

Participants must apply to present their tech by Sunday, January 23 at 11:59pm. Those selected to demonstrate their technologies, will be notified shortly after applications close.

We invite anyone who has an interest in local entrepreneurship in the technology sector to join us for what will be an exciting evening of innovation on Wednesday, February 16 at 5:30pm.

Step Two:

Please submit your application before the January 23 @11:59pm deadline.

Select participants will be notified on or before January 25. Please note that the application period will begin December 6.

Step Three:

Select participants will be invited to present their innovative technology during the 2022 Democamp on February 16, beginning at 5:30pm. Practice your demonstration and get ready to wow!

Step Four:

Demonstrate your technology to a virtual audience at the big event, and be prepared to answer any questions or receive feedback from peers or potential customers.

• Participants must be based in Atlantic Canada
• Demonstrations are limited to tech-enabled businesses only
• No PowerPoints or other slide deck formats will be permitted
