Join Marine Renewables Canada and The Consulate General of Canada in Boston, with support from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, on October 6th for an overview of Crowley Maritimes’ activities in the offshore wind industry, and their approach to forming partnerships with this developing supply chain.

Crowley, founded in 1892, is a privately-held, U.S.-owned and operated logistics, government, marine and energy solutions company headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Services are provided worldwide by four primary business units – Crowley Logistics, Crowley (Government) Solutions, Crowley Shipping and Crowley Fuels.

Crowley formed its New Energy division strategically focused on diverse services supporting the energy sectors in the U.S. and adjacent regions. Within the offshore wind industry Crowley is focused on providing turn-key solutions for the offshore wind supply chain using its assets and experience in the US maritime industry.

Edward C. Anthes-Washburn is the Director of Business Development for Crowley Shipping, a division of Crowley Maritime Corporation. Prior to joining Crowley in 2021, Ed served as CEO and Port Director of the Port of New Bedford, MA from 2015-2021. He is also the Co-Founder and Vice Chair of the New Bedford Ocean Cluster, a non-profit network that develops offshore wind supply chain opportunities for local businesses and fosters new technology and collaboration in the marine sector.
