Colombian Energy Chamber, Campetrol, invites Atlantic Canadian companies and industry stakeholders to attend the virtual ‘Caribe & Offshore’ event taking place on August 26th-27th.

This event is a meeting point of all of the key players in the hydrocarbon industry in Colombia and will have a focus on the reactivation of the Colombian Offshore.  Day one will be centred on opportunities in Colombia with panels on Energy Transition, Offshore Oil and Gas, and the positioning of Barranquilla and the Colombian Caribbean as a regional energy hub.  The second day has more of an international flavour and includes sessions on Brazil, the North Sea, decarbonisation of Oil and Gas production, and challenges/opportunities in the Guyana-Suriname Basin.

This event complements programming that the MEA has been doing on Colombia.
The MEA will be moving forward with virtual activities in Colombia this fall and we hope to arrange another in-person mission for the fall or early 2022, depending on COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time.
