PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
PANEL: Canada’s Resource Future
Canada’s economic reliance on resource production is especially applicable to our relationship with China. Where is the resources sector going, and how are Canadian companies delivering on innovation and environmental leadership? How can Canada’s resource expertise drive the creation of adjacent new lean and digital advanced manufacturing industries? Member CEOs involved in mining, rare earths and forestry will discuss these topics.
PANEL: The Future of Finance
A sector with significant future opportunity is financial services. Not only are substantive sectoral reforms taking place, the subject of Green Finance is one that provides overlap on a subject mutually agreeable to both Canada and China.
PANEL: Energy Transitions
What does Canada’s energy future look like? How do we provide affordable, reliable, and clean energy as Canada reduces its carbon intensity? More importantly, how can we link Canada’s energy supply and technological innovation with China’s demand to bring economic benefit to Canada?
