As the dialogue evolves from relief to recovery, Atlantic Canada has an important opportunity to build back better by focusing on projects and initiatives that create jobs while contributing to a diversified, resilient and low-carbon economy. The Atlantic region has many unique and untapped opportunities in renewable energy, clean technology, ocean technology, electricity infrastructure, and sustainable buildings that could spur economic development and ensure a long-term resilient future for the region.
