Marine Renewables Canada, with support from the Government of Canada and the Nova Scotia Department of Energy, will be organizing a mission to the European Wave & Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC) 2019, taking place September 1-6 in Naples, Italy. We will be providing shared booth space, matchmaking, and mission logistics.

I will be sending out an email to all MRC members soon with details on the mission and how to register to participate in it……..but I wanted to bring your attention to the EWTEC early bird registration deadline of Friday, April 26th so you don’t miss it.

You must register as a delegate for the EWTEC conference to access the sessions and additional activities (this will not be included in your mission fee). The early bird deadline for EWTEC Conference/delegate registration is this Friday, April 26th. If you plan on participating in this mission, its best to register for the EWTEC conference on or before April 26th as it will save you 100 Euros.

TRAVEL FUNDING (for MRC Members) -  We have secured partial travel funding, through Global Affairs Canada, for up to seven (7 ) MRC member companies to participate in this mission.  This partial travel funding will cover 75% of your flight and taxi as well as provide $300 per day for hotel & per diems (for a max of 6 days).

***This available travel funding will work on a first come first serve basis – the first seven (7) MRC member companies to register for the mission (once it opens) will qualify for this funding.
