Core Energy Conference

The Maritimes Energy Association presents the annual Core Energy Conference in Halifax. The Core Conference is the conference to attend to learn about the latest advances and developments in the east coast energy industry.

Core Golf Tournament

The Core Golf Tournament is held annually in conjunction with the Core Energy Conference. The tournament allows for delegates to relax and network while enjoying a day on the green.

Energy Pioneer Award Dinner

The Energy Pioneer Award is presented by the Association to recognize and acknowledge those individuals, groups, companies or their organization, which, through their outstanding accomplishments, have had an influence on the development and growth of Nova Scotia's energy industry.

Oil & Gas 101

The Maritimes Energy Association regularly hosts Oil & Gas 101 information sessions. These full day events cover the basics of Oil & Gas, both onshore and offshore.

Project Lobster/Salt Water Mixer


For the past several years, the Maritimes Energy Association has hosted a fun night of networking and great food called Project Lobster. More recently it has included the infamous Lobster Race where racers squirm across a stage to raise money for Prostate Cancer Canada. In 2015, the event became the Salt Water Mixer.

Closest to the Hole Golf Tournament

For the past several years the Association has kicked off the golfing season with its Spring Golf Tournaments. Now titled the 'Closest to the Hole Golf Tournament', this events provides a great opportunity to network and relax on the green.
