Apr. 26 - Sable Offshore Energy Project Supplier Forum
Halifax, NS
Apr 26, 2017

SABLE OFFSHORE ENERGY PROJECT SUPPLIER FORUM ON APRIL 26, 2017

The Sable Offshore Energy Project, operated by ExxonMobil Canada, has been producing natural gas and natural gas liquids from Nova Scotia’s offshore since 1999. While it continues to provide significant employment and economic benefits to Nova Scotia, the field is mature and decommissioning activities are approaching.

Decommissioning will represent a significant increase in Sable Project activity, and require a considerable amount of support from the local supply community to safely carry out this work.

On Wednesday, April 26, 2017, ExxonMobil Canada (EMC) in partnership with The Maritimes Energy Association will host a supplier forum in Halifax. Representatives from EMC and key decommissioning contractors will present further information about potential contracting opportunities, and meet directly with local suppliers in the form of a networking session and a series of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings.
